Hello, I'm Inshara!

Inshara Ali (she/her) is a senior at George Washington University pursuing a joint degree in Political Science and Journalism & Mass Communication.

Inshara has rejoined NBC News as a General Assignment intern, preceded by her time as an intern at Meet the Press. She has also worked as a fact-checker for the Poynter Institute, as an executive producer for episodes of the One Planet Podcast, and for SustainableGW in a work-study position.

The D.C.-based, Florida native has a special interest in storytelling, politics, culture, and creative writing. Inshara has a wealth of experience in print and digital journalism, strategic communications, and audio-visual production. She writes in the third-person occasionally.

Pasco County Libraries named ‘Library of the Year’ by Florida Library Association
